Rainwater Bench

The idea arrised as a reaction on the bad treatment of rainwater in bigger cities and  the possible engagement of its utilization in our everyday life.

The bench is conceived to be placed in the outside private areas such as garden, balcony, terrace and so on.
In case of the rainfall the water is collected through its slatted surface and conducted it into the pot hidden inside one of the stands. During moderate rain (10 mm/hour), it can harvest around 7 litres per hour.
The slatted base can be removed when cleaning of the stream bed is needed.

The materials used ~ zinc coated lacquered steel | recycled plastic slats from Transform a.s.
